I tried everything I could think of, but after all that heavy rain last week, my slide out went from smooth operation to moving like molasses. It sounds like it's really struggling and straining, making these awful grinding noises that have me worried I'm going to break something expensive.

Nobody told me what steering play should feel like on a 2022 Newmar Bay Star 3609 with 11k miles, and I'm worried these issues aren't normal. The coach has Liquid Springs and a Safe T Plus steering stabilizer that were professionally installed right after delivery, so I expected the steering to be really tight.

However, the owner mentioned there's still noticeable steering wheel play, and when I looked at the tires, the outer edge of the right front is significantly worn while the left front looks perfectly even. For such low mileage, this seems concerning to me. The owner says he gets annual alignments done professionally, so if it's not alignment causing this, what else could it be?

I'm worried there might be something seriously wrong with the chassis or steering components that could be dangerous or expensive to fix. Found oil mysteriously leaking from the rear hub area of my 2021 Newmar Bay Star 3626 on Ford F53 chassis even though I haven't touched anything back there. During highway operation, detected burning oil odor emanating from rear axle assembly. Visual inspection revealed oil accumulation on inside surface of rear tire, with leak pattern suggesting differential fluid migration.

Nobody warned me that my Lippert 10540 controller would go rogue and start randomly cycling through all the slide positions without me touching anything. My 2006 Damon Tuscany's Lippert 10540 controller has officially given up the ghost, and of course it's been discontinued because why would anything in RV life be simple, right?

I'm staring at this dead piece of technology wondering if I'm supposed to perform some sort of RV séance to bring it back to life, or if there are actually some real-world solutions out there. Are there compatible aftermarket controllers that won't cost me my firstborn? Can I upgrade to something newer that'll actually work with my ancient leveling system? I'm even desperate enough to consider salvage yard hunting at this point - because nothing says "living the dream" like dumpster diving for RV parts!
