My 2017 Pace Arrow 38B's residential fridge is forcing me to choose between running the generator nonstop or risking food spoilage during Phoenix boondocking in 80-degree heat.

I splurged on new AGM batteries just a few months ago, so these babies are practically still in diapers. But every morning I'm waking up to dead batteries like some sort of RV Groundhog Day nightmare. I have to fire up the engine just to get the generator going again!

So here's my million-dollar question: Is my power-hungry residential fridge just being a normal drama queen in this Phoenix heat, or did I somehow get cursed with defective batteries? Noticed my 06 Pace Arrow is 18 years old and the dual zone AC's zone 1 is starting to completely fail with a blinking green LED — repair or replace? Zone 2 is working fine with a steady green LED on the control board, but zone 1 has this annoying blinking green LED that I'm pretty sure means something's wrong.

The thermostat isn't showing zone 1 anymore either. I'm thinking it's gotta be the control board since zone 2 is chugging along just fine with the same setup. Anyone know if a blinking LED definitely means the board is toast? And is there a way to test this without just buying a new board and hoping for the best? …more

Already standing in the RV service bay staring at a $1400 evaporator replacement quote for my 2002 Pace Arrow with Triton V10 with no clue if that's highway robbery or fair. Tech says evaporator, dryer, and expansion valve all need replacing. Quoted $1400 for parts and labor, says it's an 8-hour job because of dash removal.

Is this price reasonable for this type of repair? What should I expect to pay for parts vs labor on a dash-intensive AC job like this? …more

According to every YouTube video I've watched, finding the AC fuse in my 1997 Pace Arrow F53 chassis should be easy, but I'm completely lost staring at this hood fuse box. The AC stopped working completely and I'm pretty sure it's just a blown fuse, but I've been staring at this under-hood fuse box for an hour and can't figure out which one controls the dash AC.

I see tons of fuses in there but none are clearly labeled for AC that I can tell. Is there a specific name I should be looking for? And what amperage should this fuse be? I really hope someone can point me in the right direction because this heat is killing me and I know it's probably something simple I'm missing! …more

During our budget planning for the BigFoot upgrade, my wife casually asked why we're dropping $8k when our Atwood level legs could probably fetch decent trade-in value. My '06 Pace Arrow 38L has Atwood Level Legs that keep failing despite previous repairs, so I'm planning to upgrade to BigFoot Levelers for about $8k.

The BigFoot installer said he'd take my old Atwood system but wouldn't give me any credit - he'd just fix them up and sell the parts himself. He offered to give them back to me instead, but actually discouraged me from trying to sell them myself. This has me worried - is he trying to lowball me, or is selling RV leveling parts really that difficult and risky?
