Pulled open my 2015 Fleetwood Expedition 40X kitchen sink window only to find it completely separated from the metal crank arm mechanism - now debating between calling a mobile RV tech or tackling this DIY. During my last camping trip, I noticed the window was loose and flapping around in the wind, which was both annoying and concerning. When I got back and examined it more closely, I can see that the bond between the glass and the crank mechanism has failed entirely.

I know I need to reattach it with some kind of adhesive, but I'm overwhelmed by all the different options out there. Tried everything to get my 2006 Fleetwood Tioga running after it started cutting out randomly yesterday, but can't even find the fuel shutoff switch. I think it might be related to the inertial fuel shutoff switch, but I honestly have no idea where to even start looking for it.

About to sound like a total newbie here, but why does my 2018 Winnebago Spirit's Onan 4KY-26100R generator start perfectly then instantly die when I release the start switch? I suspect it's the oil pressure sensor based on what I've read, but want to confirm this diagnosis before ordering parts. Oil level appears normal. I've tried locating the oil sensor near the oil filler tube on the crankcase, but it's difficult to see or reach. Is there a way to test if the oil pressure sensor is actually the problem? Looked like a simple breather hose replacement on my Generac RV generator, but ever since I finished the job, oil has been leaking everywhere. I replaced the cracked original-style breather hose with a new version that now includes an elbow and short extension inside the air filter housing. While the hose replacement definitely helped reduce the oil drip, I'm still seeing some persistent leakage underneath the unit.

The new hose design appears to be an upgrade from Generac, with the uphill extension meant to help oil sucked from the crankcase run back down into the engine. I'm hoping this will further minimize the drip issue. I want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious before I take it to a repair shop. Since my 2016 Coachman Mirada Class A needs its water heater drain plug serviced — would this repair even be covered under warranty? During my pre-delivery inspection at the dealership, the tech pointed out that the previous owner had swapped out the original plastic drain plug on the Suburban water heater with some kind of aftermarket metal plug. He recommended I get the proper factory plastic plug installed before any camping trips. I've got the correct replacement part now, but I'm not sure about the installation process. Should I be wrapping the threads with Teflon tape before threading it in, or does the plug seal properly on its own? Every time I see that P0339 code pop up on my Ford 7.3 Godzilla, I wonder — would crankshaft position sensor replacement be covered under my extended warranty? My 2022 RV with the 7.3 Godzilla engine (27k miles) threw a P0339 code along with hard starting and poor acceleration. Engine would barely turn over, then when it finally started it ran like garbage with warning lights everywhere. Could barely maintain 10mph before I had to shut it down.

Here's the weird part - I cleared the codes with my scanner and everything went back to normal! Engine starts fine now and runs perfectly. But I'm worried this is just the calm before the storm. Three times this week my RV ignition has done something bizarre — the key slides in perfectly but refuses to turn at all, like it's completely seized. I've been working on replacing the ignition lock cylinder in my 2003 Hurricane RV after losing my keys, and I think I've made things worse. When I drilled out the old cylinder and pulled it out, some kind of gear mechanism came with it and now I can't get everything aligned properly.

The frustrating part is that I can turn the key and all the dashboard lights come on, but when I try to actually crank the engine, absolutely nothing happens. I've tried realigning the gear multiple times but I'm obviously missing something important. I'm wondering if I need to remove the steering column covers to get better access, or if this is complicated enough that I should just bite the bullet and call a locksmith.

Wondering which ignition component to grab from this auto parts store aisle when my RV engine has zero spark and won't start. engine turns over fine but just won't fire up. I'm pretty sure it's a no-spark situation since I can't get any ignition happening. I've already tried replacing the coil twice, the distributor, and the ignition switch, and I still have 10-11 volts going to the coil but no spark.
