Apparently my 2000 Allegro Bus slideout only starts sagging and needing floor repair when it hits 85 degrees outside — works perfectly fine otherwise. We discovered water damage under the slideout and need to replace some plywood subflooring, but there are screws I can only access if I lift the slide somehow.

Finally decided to stop watching YouTube comparisons between Tiffin Allegro Bus and Newmar coaches since every reviewer contradicts each other and I'm more confused than ever. I've been researching for months and keep going in circles. Currently own a 2019 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40ip and absolutely love it, but we're looking to upgrade to a 45-footer and suddenly questioning everything.

Pulled the RV out of winter storage and the water smells like rotten eggs the second I turn on any faucet. Hot and cold both reek. Sanitized the tank with bleach before storage but clearly something went wrong over the winter. Need this fixed before our first trip next weekend. …more

Walked out to check my four 6-volt Interstate golf cart batteries in my 2015 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32SA and there's dramatically different water loss happening across them after just 6 months. Visual inspection reveals continuous bubbling activity in three of the four cells in these problematic batteries, while the fourth cell and all cells in the other two batteries appear normal.

The RV remains connected to shore power continuously, maintaining constant charging conditions. Opened up my Allegro Bay 46 ft motorhome on a Ford F53 chassis after winter storage and now it won't turn over, dashboard lights are going crazy, AND the engine makes weird clicking sounds. When I turn the key, the warning lights cycle normally (except the check engine light, which does not turn on), and the engine turns over fine when I hit the starter. However, beyond that cranking action, absolutely nothing happens - no fuel delivery, no spark.

Apparently engine braking saved me on my old Class A, but this 2016 Tiffin Allegro 36UA on the F53 chassis is absolutely terrifying on steep grades. Even in low gear, it seems to rev up and then upshift, and I end up gaining speed instead of slowing down. The engine braking just doesn't seem adequate.

I've been researching electromagnetic retarders as a possible solution, but I'm not sure if they can even be installed on an F53 or what they cost. Are there other options I should consider first? My new 2024 Tiffin Allegro 36LA came with Michelin 255/80R22.5 highway tires and I'm worried they're dangerous for winter driving with my kids onboard. Living in Washington state, we sometimes encounter snowy and icy conditions during our travels, especially when heading to the mountains or traveling during shoulder seasons.
