After upgrading my 2015 Fleetwood Excursion M-35B from 255 to 275 width tires, it started getting sketchy handling on highway turns. The current 255/70R22.5 tires are wearing out and I'd love to go wider with 275/70R22.5 for better stability, but I keep getting conflicting advice from different tire shops.

Finally figured out why my neighbor's slideout glides like butter while mine scrapes horribly against the exterior wall every time — what's their secret? My slideout has started rubbing against the exterior bathroom wall, and the coach is perfectly level.

The main thing I've noticed is that the gap at the bottom of the slide is much smaller now compared to the top - it used to be about 1½-2 inches at the bottom, but now it's barely anything. There's also about a ½ inch difference in height from one end of the slide to the other when I measure from the top.

I've independently jacked up both sides of the slide more than an inch each and checked the gap, but neither showed a difference. When I crawled underneath, I couldn't see where the slide might have moved laterally closer to the wall. The exterior stripes still line up. I also noticed the shower hasn't been used in 6 years or longer (I bought this coach used).

I'm wondering if this could be some kind of drooping issue? I've heard about things like rollers wearing out, but I honestly don't know what to look for or where to start troubleshooting. I tried getting answers about my RV sideswipe damage but my insurance adjuster says it's totaled, three body shops say fixable, and forums are completely split. The coward took off at the highway exit before I could get his plates. Damage is to the bay doors and right front corner cap area - looks pretty ugly but the RV is still drivable. Replaced my HWH slide's hydraulic hose last month and now it's spraying fluid everywhere again with our three-week cross-country trip starting Friday! My 2007 Monaco Dynasty with HWH hydraulic system decided to throw me a curveball when the bedroom slide hydraulic line (1/4" I.D.) decided to spring a leak. After some detective work (and a lovely puddle of ATF to mark the spot), I traced it back to where a 1" air line to the front caliper had been playing the world's slowest game of 'saw through the hydraulic hose' for who knows how many miles.

I temporarily patched with Gorilla Tape and 1/2" hose clamps, which got the slide almost closed but still creeping. I'm planning to fix this with a compression coupling since that seems like the most straightforward approach for a DIY repair. Two quick questions: Can anyone confirm the 1/4" I.D. hose size for HWH systems? And once I get this coupling installed, will I need to bleed the system, or does it sort itself out? I spent a fortune replacing front wheel bearings on my 2018-2019 Ford F53 motorhome because they keep failing way faster than normal, and apparently other RV owners are getting hammered too. A friend's 2018 F53 chassis just had a complete bearing failure at only 22,000 miles - the wheel was literally at an angle and destroyed the tire too.

Despite what started as a minor Aqua Hot coolant leak in my Western Alpine motorhome last month, the engine coolant hose has now completely blown out three times this week crossing Texas on I-10. Each time it happens, I lose coolant and have to find a repair shop, but the repairs don't seem to be holding up to road conditions and vibration.

The first failure happened about halfway across Texas, got it repaired at a local shop, but it blew again after only 80 miles of driving. Made it to Houston where it failed a third time, and now I'm stuck at Auto Tech Center in Kingwood, TX (owned by Wendel Walden), paying $50 a night for water and electric, plus $225/hour for labor. I'm also facing additional costs of $10 a day to store a box trailer I need to pick up on the south side of Houston.

What are my options for emergency roadside repairs when this type of Aqua Hot coolant hose failure happens? Should I be carrying specific spare parts and tools for this type of repair?
