Ford F53 Hydroboost Check Valve Ball Replacement Guide - RV Brake Repair Tips

Spent the weekend troubleshooting my 1996 Ford F53 motorhome's spongy brake pedal, and now I'm really concerned about the hydroboost system safety. When I disassembled the unit, I discovered there's no check valve ball in the accumulator assembly. The system has been working fine so far, but I watched a video where someone's accumulator failed catastrophically without this ball and damaged other components.

I'm worried about operating the RV without this part, but I'm also second-guessing myself since the brakes have been functioning normally. Do most 1996 Ford F53 hydroboost units actually require this check valve ball, or could mine be a special variant that doesn't need it? I don't want to risk brake failure or cause expensive damage by running it incorrectly. …more

1997 Ford Rexhall Overheating: Complete Repair Guide & Troubleshooting Steps

Nobody told me my 1997 Ford Rexhall Class A would keep overheating like this, and now I'm terrified of engine damage. I've already flushed the radiator multiple times and added fresh coolant, but the overheating problem persists.

I'm hesitant to start taking things apart without knowing what I'm looking for, and I'm concerned about making the problem worse. What are the most likely culprits I should check next? I've heard it could be the thermostat or water pump, but I want to make sure I'm checking everything systematically before spending money on parts that might not fix the issue. …more

How to Locate Your RV's Engine Coolant Outlet and Heater Core Connections

Standing in my driveway at 2 AM with my overheating 2003 F53 6.8 V10 Rexhall Vision — desperately need to locate the engine coolant outlet and heater core connections before dawn departure. I can see the heater hoses going through the firewall, but I'm not sure where exactly on the engine the hot coolant comes out to supply the heater core.

I know there should be a supply line that sends hot coolant to the heater core and a return line that brings it back, but I'm having trouble identifying which is which and where they connect on the engine. Could someone help me understand where to look for the coolant outlet that feeds the heater core? I'd really appreciate any guidance on tracing these connections! …more

Complete Fiberglass RV Roof Repair Guide: Products, Techniques & Step-

Noticed a crack spreading across my fiberglass roof near the front cap after last month's hailstorm.
