My wireless backup camera decided to give me the silent treatment right when I need it most. Since it's 2 AM and I need to hit the road at dawn, I'm desperately trying to figure out if balance beads will interfere with my RV's internal TPMS sensors. I keep reading about how great balance beads are for eliminating wheel vibration, but I'm terrified of damaging those expensive TPMS sensors inside the wheels.

What if the beads hit the sensors and break them? Or interfere with the signal? I can't afford to replace TPMS sensors if something goes wrong. Has anyone actually done this successfully, and are there special precautions I need to take with bead size or how they're installed? I need to know this is safe before I risk it. …more

Since I'm probably asking a dumb question here, but I'm completely lost on setting up the optimal wireless backup camera configuration for my specific towing setup. I have a 38-foot Class A motorhome that I use to tow my Jeep Gladiator, which has a fiberglass shell topper and a bike rack mounted on the receiver hitch. The bike rack creates a significant blind spot that makes it impossible to see what's happening behind my entire rig when I'm driving.

I'm considering mounting a wireless backup camera somewhere on the rear of the Gladiator to give me visibility past the bike rack and bikes. Between my neighbor insisting F53 front leaf springs swap between 2017-2021 models, my RV dealer claiming they don't, and YouTube mechanics throwing different part numbers at me, I'm completely lost. Found out my 2020 Dutch Star 3736 TPMS system isn't getting any tire pressure readings at all. The dealer quoted me $800+ to diagnose and potentially replace the whole system, which seems steep for what should be a monitoring system. I'm towing a 2022 Jeep Trailhawk and already have an aftermarket E-ZTire system for the toad that works great. The onboard TPMS display shows nothing - no pressures from any of the six coach tires. From what I can tell, these aren't the simple valve stem sensors you can swap out easily, but rather internal sensors that require tire dismounting.
