Battery Shunt Shows 70% on Shore Power - Diagnosis Guide
During my attempt to fix a battery shunt reading 70% on shore power using three YouTube tutorials, I somehow made the readings even more bizarre. We've got four brand new lithium batteries that have been connected to 50-amp shore power for about three weeks straight, but when I checked our battery monitor today, it's only reading 70% charge. What's really worrying me is that the monitor isn't displaying any current flow or power readings at all. My inverter is showing 14.1 volts and says it's in float mode, which seems right for charging.
