Last night at 11 PM I'm staring at my diesel RV's fuel gauge showing nearly empty — need to figure out remote campground fuel strategies before we head out this morning. With a 5 gallon Harbor Freight stick transfer pump, I've been able to add fuel when truck stops aren't convenient, but I'm concerned about static electricity risks.

About every summer my 2004 Adventurer runs like a dream until temps hit 85°F, then it breaks down constantly and no shop can figure out why. The main slide out has been acting up with the HWH hydraulic system, and I honestly don't know enough to fix it myself.

I'm worried about getting taken advantage of since I don't really know what questions to ask or what warning signs to watch out for. I've heard horror stories about people paying huge bills for shoddy work. What's the best way to research and find a reliable shop? Apparently my 2008 Ford F53 motorhome is 16 years old and starting to have key programming issues — should I attempt DIY programming or call a locksmith? I just dropped $176 on two new transponder keys for my 2024 Windsport 34R (2022 F53 chassis) because I only had one set and didn't want to get locked out in the middle of nowhere wearing my pajamas and fuzzy slippers (again).

The Ford dealer quoted me another $140-170 to program these fancy chip keys, insisting I'd need to haul my 35-foot house-on-wheels down there for the programming. But the parts guy said "try them first" - and wouldn't you know it, both keys fired right up without any programming!

So what's the deal here? Are these unprogrammed transponder keys going to mysteriously stop working next Tuesday? Did I just dodge a bullet, or am I missing out on some important anti-theft features that actually matter? Walked into the dealership at closing time with my 2022 Thor Quantum MB24 and they're pressuring me to decide on extended warranty coverage before they open tomorrow. The original Mercedes chassis warranty has already expired since it was put in service in 2021, and the dealer is pushing a 4-year/60,000 mile extended warranty.

I keep hearing that Mercedes Sprinter repairs can be really expensive, but I honestly don't know what to expect or what questions I should even be asking about the warranty coverage. Opened my 2022 Holiday Rambler 38N DP and discovered it's eating through surge protectors way faster than normal, despite having the built-in Southwire system. Dealer says I might not need an external surge protector like a Watchdog since it's already built in.

Spent three hours researching and my neighbor swears AGM batteries work fine for my Renegade Valencia, the dealer's pushing a $6000 lithium package, but YouTube reviewers are completely split. Opened my 2006 Fleetwood Providence yesterday to find my Onan 7500 generator automatically shutting down and tripping my Xantrex Freedom 458 inverter off every time.

The AGS does its job perfectly - kicks on when needed, charges the batteries, then shuts down like a good little robot. But here's where things get spicy: about half the time when the generator shuts off, my inverter decides to throw a tantrum and shut itself off too. Then I get to do the walk of shame to hit the reset button like I'm apologizing to a moody teenager.

This has been going on for literal years, and I'm tired of playing referee between my electrical components. Anyone know what's causing this voltage drama and how I can make these two play nice together? Between our last camping trip and now, my Class C's rear passenger leveling jack won't respond anymore—the thing's completely stuck and the control panel keeps flashing a "Service needed" message. Pretty sure it's a Lippert system since that's what most manufacturers use.
