Walked out to my 2006 Newmar 3910 after that brutal heat wave last month and the plastic around my Norcold RV refrigerator door hinge has completely cracked and given way. The door is literally falling off now, though the actual hinge hardware still seems okay - it's just that the plastic frame around the hinge pin has failed.

I'm hesitant to attempt any repairs myself since we just invested in new guts for this unit to get both 120v and propane operation working. We're currently wintering in Temecula, CA, and I don't want to damage the door frame beyond repair or create a safety hazard. According to Murphy's Law, our RV's refrigerator door latch completely gave out just days before our big family reunion trip this weekend! Despite being on a tight budget and unable to afford professional installation, is there a way to properly fit my Frigidaire FFET1222 in my cramped RV kitchen myself? The manufacturer lists specific dimensions, but I'm worried they might not be completely accurate and I'll end up with a fridge that doesn't fit.

Last month what seemed like a simple electrical hiccup in my 2005 Ford E450 Isata 250SL has spiraled into a complete system meltdown. My Intellitec BD-0 disconnect switch isn't working properly and I suspect the latching relay might be the culprit, but I'm honestly afraid I'm going to damage something if I start poking around blindly.

I've been searching everywhere but I just cannot locate this latching relay! I don't want to accidentally disconnect the wrong thing or cause any electrical damage to my coach batteries.
