Apparently I'm tackling my Samsung RF18 residential refrigerator install in my Bounder 35E this Saturday — what measurements and prep work do I need ready for the door opening? I've measured the door opening and it's just barely larger than 24.5 inches at the narrowest point, and Samsung lists the RF18 at exactly 24.5" wide with doors removed.

I'm worried I might get the refrigerator delivered and then find out it won't actually fit, or worse - damage something trying to force it through. Has anyone successfully done this installation? I know some people remove windows for residential fridge installations, but I really don't want to go that route if I can avoid it. Got my tools spread out and I'm determined to fix this Onan QP 3600 LP generator (Model 3.6KY-26120R) that's throwing code 36 myself — where's the best place to start? The unit starts immediately but shuts down right away. I have plenty of propane and the oil level is fine.

Standing in my 2016 Itasca Navion 24G, I discovered the previous owner left me with a completely shot Norcold N3150 refrigerator. The fridge is struggling big time in hot weather, with temperature swings up to 50-60F, and I'm tired of playing refrigerator roulette every trip. I'm running 200W of solar and 2 Golf Cart 6V batteries, and I do a lot of driving through Southern California deserts where temperatures hit 110F.

Been doing some research and keep seeing two main options - the NovaKool RFU6406D with dual compressors, or sticking with absorption and going with something like the Norcold N2175. I'm particularly interested in a setup that'll keep things cold when it's scorching outside and provide reliable cooling performance.

What's the real-world difference between these two approaches, and which one's gonna give me better performance in those extreme desert heat situations? …more

Despite being on a tight budget and unable to afford professional installation, is there a way to properly fit my Frigidaire FFET1222 in my cramped RV kitchen myself? The manufacturer lists specific dimensions, but I'm worried they might not be completely accurate and I'll end up with a fridge that doesn't fit.

This morning my RV's electric cooktop died mid-cooking with an E7 error, both AC units are flashing the same code, AND now everything's going haywire. Won't turn back on even after cycling the breaker. Microwave still works fine, all LED lights working normal. But now all three air conditioners are showing E7 error codes and won't start up. Usually flipping AC breakers clears the E7 but not this time. Just installed fresh batteries last week. Really need help - getting uncomfortably warm in here! …more
