Pulled open my 2015 Fleetwood Expedition 40X kitchen sink window only to find it completely separated from the metal crank arm mechanism - now debating between calling a mobile RV tech or tackling this DIY. During my last camping trip, I noticed the window was loose and flapping around in the wind, which was both annoying and concerning. When I got back and examined it more closely, I can see that the bond between the glass and the crank mechanism has failed entirely.

I know I need to reattach it with some kind of adhesive, but I'm overwhelmed by all the different options out there. I've seen mentions of products like 3M Windo-Weld and various Sikaflex formulations (like 221, 255, 291), but I'm not sure which one is specifically designed for this type of repair. Called three RV supply shops about replacing my failed Xantrex inverter/charger in my 2001 Fleetwood Expedition — but do I even need one or just wasting money? Since I never utilize the inverter function and rely exclusively on generator or shore power for 120V loads, I'm evaluating whether complete removal is feasible rather than expensive replacement.

My primary concern is maintaining proper 12V DC charging capabilities for house batteries that power lighting, water pump, and ventilation systems. This drives me crazy — my 2004 Fleetwood Expedition's roof AC only acts up when it's above 85 degrees outside, but I can't identify the model number to order replacement parts. I've got a 2004 Fleetwood Expedition and the front roof air conditioner isn't working properly. I went up on the roof to check it out, but the sticker with all the model information is completely weathered and unreadable. I can make out that it might be a Dometic or Coleman unit, but I'm not sure. Without the model number, I'm having trouble finding parts or even knowing what I'm dealing with.
